Why I'm Running
After more than a decade serving the people of Livingston and years caring for patients across Essex County, I’ve learned that leadership is about service and results. I’m running for County Commissioner because I want to continue working to strengthen the communities we all call home.
Safer communities.
Every family deserves to feel safe where they live. During my time serving as Mayor and Councilman in Livingston, we reduced major crime by more than 75% by investing in smarter technology and strengthening support for our police. As County Commissioner, I want to continue prioritizing public safety and ensuring our communities remain places where families can live, work, and raise their children with confidence.
Responsible, Affordable Government.
Government should work for the people it serves. In Livingston, we kept tax increases below inflation, lowered energy costs for residents through smarter purchasing, and strengthened the town’s finances, earning an Aa1 bond rating. I’m running to bring that same practical, results-driven leadership to Essex County so families can thrive without unnecessary financial burdens.
A life of service.
Service has always guided my life. As an eye surgeon serving patients across Essex County, I’ve spent my career helping people regain their sight and improving their quality of life. In my practice, we proudly accept Medicaid patients because everyone deserves access to care. Whether in medicine or public office, I believe leadership means showing up, listening, and putting people first.
