Shawn Klein has spent his life serving Essex County,  because it’s home.

Shawn Klein is a lifelong Essex County resident, husband, father, eye surgeon, and proven public servant. As Livingston’s Mayor and Councilman for 12 years, he cut major crime by over 75%, lowered energy costs, kept taxes below inflation, and strengthened the town’s financial standing — all while leading with integrity and compassion. Shawn is running for County Commissioner to keep Essex County safe, affordable, and a place families are proud to call home.
